A professional card that offers the craftsperson social, financial, training, and health benefits
On Wednesday, August 3, 2022, Minister Achille BASSILEKIN III officially opened the two-day workshop on the operationalization of the craftsperson's professional card, including its features and application processes, on the esplanade of the Yaoundé International Handicrafts Center. The workshop's objective is to bring together all parties involved in the formalization of artisans and handicraft businesses in order to define the functions of the professional card for artisans as well as the procedures for getting it. This course is also intended to formalize artisans and help them transition from the unorganized to the organized sectors, giving each regularly registered craftsperson certain rights.
